Captivating

“What a comfort it is to know that this universe we live in is relational at its core, that our God is a tenderhearted God who yearns for a relationship with us.” “Not only does God long for us but, he longs to be loved by us.”
-Stasi and John Eldredge

Awake 21
Posted January 11, 2010 by rangerrobertCategories: By Kellee Kuessner
The Summit staff is participating in 21 days of prayer and fasting. I am very excited about this opportunity to get reconnected with God, not only as an individual but also as a family. In the OT, fasting was done as a way to gain forgiveness from God. However, now because of the cross we are no longer forced to fast as our way to gain forgiveness. Read the rest of this post »

2“We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. 3We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3

People of my Heart

I am thankful for Robert. He is my best friend, he’s my partner in crime, he’s my soul mate. I am so blessed that God has not only placed in him my life, but is allowing me to spend the rest of my life with him. I am so excited to see what God has in store for us–in our marriage, in our family to come, and in our ministry together.

“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the Harvest, to send out workers into his fields.” -Matthew 9:38
October has arrived, one of my favorite times of year is here. The cool, crisp air. The leaves changing colors. The pumpkins and all that goes with this time of year. This weekend we’re celebrating more than just that Autumn has arrived. Tomorrow is our one year anniversary at the Summit. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been around a year, but at the same time it feels as if we’ve always been here. Now that we have no building (currently, but soon) we are going to meet in a parking lot and a driving range. Read the rest of this post »
There’s No Denying It

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Fall! I am so excited that October’s here! Last year I was so home sick that I completely missed out on this beautiful season in this beautiful place that I live in. Tomorrow we are going to the Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze, which I am so super excited about. I love sweater weather, color changing leaves, pumpkins, and everything that goes along with it! It is so hard not to look out my window, see the mountains staring me in the face with the oranges, reds and yellows and not just say “Thanks God, I needed that!” There’s no denying that he’s the creator of everything…I mean who else could make this beautiful creation?

” You are holy, great and mighty. The moon and the stars declare who you are. I’m so unworthy but still you love me. Forever my heart will sing of your love.”
This chorus really struck me today during chapel. It’s just something to think about.
